Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 28, 2026
This policy describes what information is handled when you read Modewalk at modewalk.com, how the operator uses it and what choices you have. The operator is whoever runs this fashion publication, and the words we and us refer to the operator.
Visit logs
The servers that deliver our runway reports and accessory features keep standard logs. When you open a Paris show review, the log may note your IP address, the moment of the request, the address of the page, the type of browser or device you used and the page that pointed you to us. We use this to keep the site stable, to investigate errors and abuse, and to see broadly which Paris fashion and trend articles are being read.
Cookies and similar technology
Modewalk may use cookies or comparable storage. A few exist simply so that galleries and menus behave as expected. Others, where enabled, count audiences, remember a setting, support advertising or record that a visitor arrived from our page at a fashion retailer so affiliate attribution works. A cookie set by an advertiser or an embedded video player is under that provider’s control, not ours, and its own notice explains what it does.
Browser controls and opt-out signals
Anyone browsing handbag roundups or trend reports can clear stored cookies, switch to a private window or add a tracking-protection extension. If your browser sends a do-not-track or global privacy signal, we will honour it as an opt-out wherever the tools we use support that. Blocking certain cookies may change how some embedded content on the site appears.
Emails and forms
If you write to [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you include. We use it to answer you, to fix errors in articles and to keep a record of the exchange. Your note stays between you and the operator, and a quote from it would only appear on the site if you agreed first.
Newsletters
If Modewalk offers a newsletter or sign-up form, the details you give are used to send what you asked for, such as a roundup of new runway coverage. Every issue carries an unsubscribe route, and an email to us asking to be taken off the list works too.
Outside services
A fashion site depends on outside providers. These may include hosting and delivery networks, analytics, advertising and affiliate networks, and embedded material such as show videos, social posts or image galleries. They may receive technical information about your visit so their service functions, and they operate under their own privacy notices.
Retention
Server logs are kept for a limited time, then deleted or reduced to anonymous totals. Emails are kept while they help us answer you, correct an article or meet a legal duty, and are removed when that need passes.
Your rights
Depending on your location, the law may let you request a copy of the personal information held about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, object to particular uses, or take back a consent you gave. To make a request, email [email protected] and say what you would like us to do. Before acting on a request we may ask for proof that the message really comes from you, and we will answer within whatever time limit applies to us.
Younger readers
Modewalk is written for a general audience and is not aimed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal details from children. If a child has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable measures such as secure connections and limited access to the inbox. No system for storing or sending data online is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
Data crossing borders
The providers behind Modewalk may process information in other countries, where the rules can differ from those where you live. If you read a Paris collection review from far away, your visit data may well pass through servers in several places.
Updates to this policy
We may revise this policy as the site or applicable law changes. The effective date above shows when the current version started, and continuing to read Modewalk after an update means you accept the revised text.
